Fog-ust

Inline image 1
This is a photo of fog moving in from the Pacific, hitting an island and then curling back on itself. On this particular day, it was the only fog. Yesterday we motored in fog for most of the day but just before we anchored it cleared off and we had beautiful sunshine. One of our favourite places to anchor in Barkley Sound is behind Refuge Island, close to Lucky Creek. The water temperature was a pleasant 19 degrees (68 fahrenheit) in the bay and just a little cooler in the river. So we all enjoyed a fresh water bath, including Maggie.
Trying our luck at catching some fish today!

Interesting photo of fog! We have smoke in the air that is caused by fires around Kamloops and Penticton. They were started with lightning strikes yesterday and day before. Strange weather we're having. Happy Fishing!

We have smoke in our air, too, Mom. I love your regular shortish posts, Kat -- the photo of that isolated fog bank is very cool. Sounds like your trip is so relaxing, even though I know sailing is work. I would have loved to have been swimming in the ocean with you guys and Maggie.
