We don’t have enough wind to sail today, so we motor along. The swells from the ocean make travel somewhat uncomfortable as we rock back and forth. Once we turn into Salisbury Sound, the ocean swells, wind and current work to our advantage and push us along smoothly.

Oh, Oh, Sitka not spoiled by cruise ships???? We were in Sitka with a Cruise ship from the Holland America Line. Two years ago. Yes it is a very nice town. My, oh my you see so many wonderful things and nature. Beautiful pictures from the whales and sea lions and that bear. He seems so close to you both. As for Happy Canada Day, well somehow the weather was not specifically nice. Kind of overclouded, we went to Transfer beach for the kids, planning to end the afternoon with a on Transfer Beach, but as it became really cool we packed up at 5 pm and barbequed in the back yard at home. Dissapointment for the 3 grand children. Lets hope before they return to Ontario we will get some real nice BC weather.
