Mystery Animal

We are trying to figure out what animal this skull is from.... any guesses out there? It was found on a beach on a small island in the middle of Johnstone Strait. It has teeth somewhat like a dog but really big eye sockets.

My guess is a deer. But you should be asking the experts 'Peter & Roma'.

I'd say it is a seal skull. Could you take a photo of it from the side and post that, please?
It looks like an adult animal because the sutures in the skull are fused and the sagittal crest on top of the skull is prominent.
It would be interesting to see the teeth as well.
Is there a prize if I'm right? And IF there is a prize is there any chance that it might be chocolate?

Roma, I have posted another picture. As for the prize, maybe, but how would I know if you were right and thus the winner? Speaking of chocolate, we found the most INTENSE chocolate bar on our trip! It didn't last long.

Sorry Mum, it's definitely not a deer. Deer do not have incisor teeth in their upper jaw. We have plenty of deer skulls around here if you want one though.
I'm sure it's a seal.

P.S. Truffles are my favourite.
